An angular way of life

Everything we do should be done with peace, it is the ideal state for our body, mind and soul.  We must learn how to cultivate calmness and poise and let that be at the centre of our very being.  A pattern for living can be thought of as a triangle, sweetness and calmness are the sides that hold it together, but at the base or foundation, its support, is happiness.  I believe the purpose of our life is to be happy, every human desires happiness and contentment.  Our mind is restless by nature and registers every event, no matter how small.  If we focus our attention within, settle into stillness, if we become calm, motionless, we will see at our centre a place of tranquility and harmony, a place where the spirit of the divine makes it home. Seek this place and relish the gifts that come forth.  “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalms 46:10)

Take some time, become conscious of the spark of divinity within each of us, that which is always present and full of peace.

I often use these words from the psalmist to find strength is times of turmoil. For me knowing God is indeed recognizing the presence of the divine is each and every moment of my life, even in times of great emotional pain. I believe God weeps and laughs with us. Shalom, Daisy Ann.
